Equal Justice America Legal Services Fellowships Up to $1,500
Fall 2016


Equal Justice America is pleased to offer $1,500 fellowships to students at the law schools listed below who work during the Fall 2016 semester for organizations providing direct civil legal assistance for the poor. Click here to view Law Schools where EJA Fellowships are offered.


Students must secure a part-time (at least 120 hours) placement for Fall 2016 working for a legal services organization. Students may also apply for a fellowship if they are unable to work a full 120 hours. The grant would be reduced on a pro-rated basis.

To apply applicants must send the following:


  • A cover letter describing your commitment and interest in providing legal services to the poor
  • A resume
  • An employment confirmation letter from the hiring organization
