"Homeless and low-income veterans are often faced with inequities upon their discharge from military service. Recognizing this, Neighborhood Legal Services Program of the District of Columbia assists D.C. veterans with accessing justice by providing them with free legal assistance. We are grateful for EJA’s partnership and are excited to have a new fellow join us in this important commitment. This two-year fellowship will help to expand our work with homeless and low-income veterans facing legal issues. We appreciate the ability to serve our veterans by providing them with legal assistance and are thrilled to offer an invaluable legal experience to a recent local law school graduate."
