Welcome Randy Gilliland to our EJA Team

March 10, 2022

We are excited to announce Randy Gilliland has joined our team as the Director of Philanthropy. Randy joins EJA with extensive private, public, and nonprofit experience. He has been a serial entrepreneur in political fundraising consulting, governmental affairs, manufacturing, international business consulting, and technology. In addition, he started his own nonprofit that raised $6M in grants in its first year.

He has served people in the roles of Hampton City Council and Vice Mayor, member of Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Hampton Roads Technology Council, VA Peninsula FoodBank, and more. My favorite quote by an elected official was by Vice President Hubert Humphrey; ‘It was once said that the moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped.’

“I have a drive to serve those in difficult circumstances, to do what I can to make a change in their lives.

It would be best for all for government to live up to that quote. I am committed to his sentiment and am pleased to serve those people in my role at Equal Justice America.”
