"I realized that the last eight weeks have been inspiring, challenging, and, most importantly, reaffirmed my decision to become a lawyer."
Christina Murphy discovered profound inspiration and motivation through her EJA Fellowship, propelling her forward on her journey toward becoming a lawyer.
"I still could not quite understand what drew me to law school until two months ago when I met the selfless and dedicated attorneys at the legal aid office. It was the first time I experienced lawyering in action in a way that made my heart smile, and my soul feel at home.
It is about making a genuine difference in the lives of people in the community. I finally realized that their passion and commitment to advocacy matched mine and is the reason why I want to be a lawyer. Simply put, I want to advocate for others who need help. I cannot wait to get back to work so that one day, I, too, can bless others through advocacy as a lawyer."
