Southwestern Law School

The following Southwestern Law School students have received fellowships from Equal Justice America. These fellowships are made possible by contributions from Southwestern law alumni. With continued support from the alumni, we look forward to putting many more Southwestern law students to work providing vitally needed legal assistance to the poor.

(Equal Justice America is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation unaffiliated with any law school.)

"I am happy that I chose to spend my summer with KIND. I am grateful for this rewarding opportunity to provide support to immigrant children. Organizations like KIND and Equal Justice America are crucial in order to provide resources to disadvantaged populations."

I am taking away so much from my experience with Public Counsel. Working with homeless individuals and learning about the state of homelessness in my city was humbling and eye-opening. It was also extremely gratifying to connect with our clients, to have them open up to us about their struggles and about the hardships they regularly endure by being without regular shelter and minimal income. Thank you for this opportunity to give back to my community. I will always remember my time with Public Counsel.
